Dr Who hits the high street – in Harris Tweed!

Who would have thought that the impartial and incorruptible BBC would lend itself to such a thing as product placement?
And yet it appears that Harris Tweed are doing very nicely, thank you, out of appearances by Dr Who, played by Matt Smith, who sports one of their jackets. In fact the opportunistic islanders have even created a tweed bow tie in homage to their hero. Still, I suppose it does take a Time Lord to drag tweed into the 21stcentury and make it a hot high street item!
