New website doubles hit rate for Coke Gearing

Some property websites are no more than online classifieds, but we felt that our clients, Coke Gearing, deserved better – something more in keeping with the proactive approach of the agents themselves.
Making the website a more effective marketing tool meant the inclusion of key interactive features designed to streamline the whole business of sourcing and comparing property details, and keeping clients up-to-the-minute with new releases coming onto the market.
New customer friendly features we introduced included a property alert function that keeps potential occupiers posted of premises that fit their specification – the moment they become available. And particularly useful for the comparative shopper is a new portfolio building function that allows site visitors to drop selected properties into a folder for batch download.
For clients searching for properties in particular areas we also streamlined the SEO. So, for example, keying in ‘Office – To Let – Stansted Road’ will find that exact property within the Coke Gearing website.
The effectiveness of the revamped website speaks for itself. Since the upgrade the hit rate has increased, and the volume of enquiries handled by the client has grown along with it.
“We are pleased with the result of the redesign on many levels, visually, and in terms of client navigation it was a big step forward for us, equally we needed a simple and idiot proof way of amending and updating the site which the web-guys at Royston Simpson were able to build in for us.
This simplifies our procedures and means we can easily amend and update content ourselves without involving third parties leading to quicker listings and more current news stories.
The traffic generated since the upgrade has been gratifying and has fully justified the investment” says Richard Coke –Director at Coke Gearing.
